Just looked up Jeff at Orangeville Prep, Tyreese S a grad, Moncrieffe was a Sr this yr. So, Jeff averaged 7.6 ppg , 6rpg, and 2bpg, in a small 5 game sample this season.
Tried looking up Jakai Robinson stat at National Christian Academy, Ft Washington, Md; didn't get access.
Anselem seems like he would be a tough get, considering the competition.
Too bad about Sanogo, rough to lose a recruit to Danny [and UConn], but that's recruiting; we've been through this many times at Seton Hall.
When Ricky took the Iona job a few weeks back, the NY Post did their Sunday Q and A series interview with him, Kevin's name came up in the conversation, and Pitino made a point that doesn't get mentioned often, if ever; he said that Seton Hall is a tough place to succeed at, and he credited Willard with having done a fine job in S Orange.
I found that to be a telling statement coming from somebody intimately involved on the inside of the college game, and all that it entails to thrive. Recruiting, facilities, financial backing, campus are all areas that Seton Hall continually has to address when attempting to get the best players to sign on.
Personally, given the inherent drawbacks, I think we have done quite well considering other schools' sizable advantages
