Starting in 2015/16, there was a five year streak when SHU could line up with anyone in the country. Hope we can get back to that level with this upcoming season being a big step in that direction.

Starting in 2015/16, there was a five year streak when SHU could line up with anyone in the country. Hope we can get back to that level with this upcoming season being a big step in that direction.

For a program that’s been wildly outgunned with multiple low points in the nearly 45 years since joining The Big East, we’re still on a good run. Over the past 8 seasons, we’re 85-63 in the BE regular season with 6 NCAA Tournament teams (blew the other 2) and haven’t had a single losing record. Prior to this, our high was just 3 consecutive non-losing BE regular seasons, and that was under PJ Carlesimo from 1990-91 to 1992-93. 3! Wild.

Personally I’m with Jerry and I think that streak ends this year. But really hoping to be wrong.
