Jerry is not a homer in this respect. Through the many years I have known him when he feels the student are out of line with vulgar chants he has told me. In fact once it getting so bad that he reported them, and rightly so. The fact that in this case he is defending their actions tells me all I need to know. And probably why the many calls did not go our way Saturday.

I love the enthusiasm and what these kids are doing just wasn’t a fan of the masks/covid thing. I didn’t find it funny at all. But to each his own.

If Big East refs let college kids get under their skin so much that they threw a game/blew calls on purpose/didn't do their jobs...they should be fired.

I assume the league does a "post mortem" on games and grades the refs...maybe those "grades" should be made public....for accountability purposes.....
