Jerry on Dar

Looks like the potential is there to be a really good addition to the weak roster. Need a couple of more impact players to move the needle from last years results.

Your sarcasm meter needs fixing - ;)
Not sarcasm based on all the injuries this team had last season. If there is a roster of 9 kids right now you can count on at least one or more having an injury. Of course I expect the roster to fill out with some more kids so they can practice 5 on 5 even if there are 2-3 sitting out with hang nails.

Legit center & PF plus a quality back up point guard are a necessity for us to even be relevant next year.
I think Felton will be the backup pg, I also think he will see some mins at the 2. He will be better than most on here project.

He is going to have to improve his handle by leaps and bounds.

His lateral quickness as well.

I am surprised he stayed, so I view that as a positive unless someone tells me the only interest he would have received would have been at a lower level conference.

Jeremiah Williams from Rutgers is visiting on Thursday. Believe he's at Georgetown now.

He'd be a guy who can play minutes on and off ball and give you a bigger, stronger, defensive-orientated PG to contrast with Budd. Sha's dream to play 10-12 deep still on the table. Looks like he decided to divide his budget by 12 and try to find a roster of players between 300-500k. Still praying I'm wrong and he'll somehow find 1 or 2 guys worthy of spending more for.

Williams just committed to Georgetown on the visit.

Unfortunately, roster charts are now meaningless. For the majority of players at schools in the BE, it’s one, maybe 2 if they’re lucky, and done and move on to a bigger payroll. Not like the days when athletes were also students and in it for a 4 year run and diploma. Sad. 😰

Assane Mbaye no longer on the team? Last year he was in the team picture and had been given #35 uniform. So does that count as being on the roster? Or is this only a list of kids on NIL payment?

May 5: 7-foot-2 freshman Mbaye is in the Hall's plans

The portal entry deadline came and went without 7-foot-2 freshman center Assayne Mbaye entering, and in response to fan questions about the Patrick School grad, yes we can confirm that he is part of the Hall's plans for next season. Mbaye did not play this past season, sitting out for developmental purposes.

Whether he will be upgraded from walk-on to scholarship status for 2025-26 is unclear and might depend on how the scholarship limits are impacted by the House legal settlement that remains in court. The scholarship limit could rise from 13 to 15, although that's not necessarily a good thing for men's basketball coaches who have their hands full with payroll and playing-time demands from players and their camps as it is.

Yes this was posted before so I question why he is not listed on the Seton Hall Roster chart. Is it really a roster chart? A list of who got NIL money? A list of only those only on "ships". What is it? Like I said last year he was given a number and uniform and was in the team picture. So why is he not on the roster chart?

Because the roster chart is made by a kid on Twitter. It's not official.

It's a scholarship chart.

I'm interested to see Dar and Clark play. Plus if Felton and Godswill can take a big jump in Year 2. Godswill flashed down the stretch of the BE season in a real promising way. Felton was the opposite; crashed and bottomed out down the stretch, only a 3.5PPG, 15 MPG guy but has a good looking shot.

Rest? Eh.
