What did you guys think of having Al take that three to tie at the end of regulation? There was enough time to take a 2 and foul and extend the game. Miss that three ad we probably lose. But given the anemia of our half court offense and how Al was playing, I thought it was the right call. Two money onion shots like that! Whoa! What a second half performance by the much maligned Al Amir Dawes. Saved our ass. (He had 10 reb and no TOs.) Him and Dylan were 9-21 from three. Others were 0-9.
And the other half of the much maligned bros saved our first half ass. Not a great second half O by Wusu but his effort is never in question.
If the staff agreed with the board and sat them to the bench, Virginia would have outscored us lol.

The criticism of Al here reminds me so much of the criticism of Copeland here. Just cretinous
Oh my god man really? guy had 6 3's. Dagger after dagger. That's Al being Al. Sometimes u have to live with what looks to be off balance 3's at times, but this teams needs an alpha on offense. Ask where the hell kadary was with 6 points. Guy goes missing for long stretches. Please no more Kadary NBA talk.
Maybe over the summer Kadary can develop a reliable 3-pt. shot, as John Morton did, one summer many years ago.
Is that the rumor? I hope we don't let St. John's outbid us. I don't think Kadary fits into Pitino's system. Kadary would be shooting himself in the foot if he went there.

Not a great look for sure. But didnt lose to mid majors. X lost to an SEC team by 2, BU blew their game on an awful last second two and lost by 1 to a Big Ten then and PC played without carter.

I've heard it from two people now; 1 of which generally doesn't tell me things unless they have a basis rooted in reality. I'm not sure he fits in Pitino's system either, but I can't imagine he wouldn't pay to get a Big East 1st team PG on his team either.
It’s all so bizarre now. With all of these COVID years and fifth year players, there’s something to be said about moving on. Thought the same thing after the 2020 season.
A great example is the SHU soccer team that went to Final Eight as an older team, came back with the extra year and then stunk, because they became stale.
There’s no right or wrong, but maybe the takeaway is that sticking around isn’t automatically a good thing. Not that it can’t be.
