Excellent comparison. And it seems to me that Sha always wants to have an “Ndefo” on his team and he’s desperately trying to make Aligbe that guy.The Addae-Wusu stuff has to stop. What more do we need to see? We're talking about his entire career. Maybe Felton showed enough to play more lead guard. It's going to be a scramble. Dual is needs to get better fast.
The 4/5 spots are the least of our worries, IMO. But if I was coach, I would have one of Okorafor, Erheriene, or Yalden out there at all times. They're young players, we have 3 of them, stop going small and weaking the 4-spot with Aligbe or Toumi having to play center. It weakens too many positions.
I think you have to settle on some pairings with rotations. When Addae-Wusu out of position and Aligbe are on the floor together the offense is mess. A bit like Femi/Ndefo.
The three centers have totaled 33 points and 35 rebounds over 160 minutes over the first six games. That's 5.6 PPG and 5.8 RPG in nearly 27 MPG. The problem with asking them to play more is they haven't shown they're capable of carrying the load. This is an issue we knew we'd have and it's come to fruition. I agree we're weakening two positions at once but sadly that may be a better option. The Addae-Wusu stuff has to stop. What more do we need to see? We're talking about his entire career.
