I get what you are saying, but what Willard did to Maryland was way worse than what he did to us. He at least spared us the embarrassment of telling the national media that our resources suck and our athletic department is incompetent and cheap.

That’s true. But this appears no different than an ugly divorce where people trash the ex. None of us know if they were sticking it to Willard on daily basis behind the scenes and this was his big middle finger back at them. It usually takes 2 to tango and my guess this is about way more than an extra night in NYC. One thing to say about Willard, the people who know him the best, his players, seem to love the guy.
