Much more depressed that Jim Keady didn't come out on top in NJ4. I also wish McCormick had gotten in the race much earlier, as she ended up with 38% of the vote against that corporate establishment shill Menendez despite the very late start, zero name recognition and zero buzz. If she had had time and actually gotten progressives out there for her & fundraised, she could have made it a race. Goes to show you how awful & corrupt we know Menendez is.
A budget better get to murphys desk so he can sign something by end of June oh btw the bill that everyone talked about to keep beaches and casinos open during a state shutdown was never voted on
It's early in his term but Murphy is doing everything to ensure that he will be a one term Governor. At least the Dem legislators are smart enough to realize that voting for more taxes at this point will result in their not being re-elected. It also could affect Menendez chances in the Senate race. Those with long memories will remember how Governor Florio's tax increase came within an inch of costing Bill Bradley's re-election. While I do not like Menendez (nor his opponent for that matter) a vote against him is the equivalent to a vote for Trump which I will not do.

Exactly why I voted for Peter Rohrman. Murphy is an idiot, and we all knew he was an idiot. But we have to vote for somebody to prevent somebody else from being elected. Never quite understood that logic. Sorry.
