Nobody seems to mention the talent issues surrounding TD and MP. MP put this program on his back. TD and for that matter IW did too but not to the same extent (perhaps only because TD didn’t have to). And yes, I remember the sell outs at the Meadowlands.
MP will not surpass the scoring record IMO but I think he deserves the jersey retirement at senior day. He kept the momentum and national attention after IW, when many thought we’d become irrelevant.
we should debate 92/93 team vs 18/19. Most would say 92/93 had way more talent I suspect.
19/20 COULD be best ever, assuming no major health issues.
