In his latest bracketology has us playing Syracuse in Dayton (play in game) but has Providence as a 6 seed. That's absurd.

Lunardi has had SHU in the play in game for the last 2-3 games now. We have won 3 games and he has had is in the same position. You would figure you would eventually move up just by winning. I personally think right now we are anywhere from 8-10. There isn't much different between an 8 seed or 10 seed this year.

We occupy third place in one of the strongest conferences and Lunardi has us barely in the tournament. Just goes to show that we do have more work to do. No matter how many stats these bracketologists look at, they still rely on their opinion in the end. Our past performance is still haunting us. Need to keep on winning.

If we take care of business and win 4-5 of remaining games than none of today's bracket analysis will matter. It's all nonsense at this point.

I know Lunardi's big issue is our weak OOC numbers, as he's gone on to point that out multiple times now. Hopefully he is wrong and we don't get punished too badly for it.

Georgia has been doing well. George Wash. is rolling. Wichita State had a bump in the road but has been great. Even LB state is in the top 100. Our bad loss is to a top 100 team.

I'm just talking computer-numbers wise. He's picked them apart from that stand point. The slew of 200+ RPI dregs could come back to hurt us, but hopefully we do enough to make it moot.

If you win, that's all that matters...you see how fast he changes his prediction.

One game, one win at a time! As long as the team keeps on winning there is no need to listen to or dissect a peter puffer like Lunardi as gospel!

Beggars can't be choosers. At the end of the day I just want to get in, but i don't want the play in game or 8/9.

I like Lunardi, and I have ran into him a few times. I certainly don't think he has any ax to grind, based upon my conversations with him. His projections, however, are often wrong this time of the year. While it is fun to discuss, there are still four weeks until selection Sunday.

Who cares. Projected seeding at this point is completely insignificant. Just keep winning.
Exactly. Didn't a candidate go to bed thinking he was elected President only to awake to find out he lost? I'll start worrying about the NCAAs in about 3 weeks when it matters and speculation is laid to rest.

Beat #5 XAVIER and beat # 20 Providence at home even and the argument about seeding becomes relevant. Lose those , win just 10 in conference and you let a lot of people back in the game.

We need 5-2 the rest of the way and we can just motor into selection Sunday. Whope decided we can't stretch towards a solid third place in BE.

I like our chances right now . I love that we have some gap times to allow team a little rest and refocus.

Here comes the stretch run !!!

Whether it's a computer or formula based ranking projection or an individual's view of what factors he values in arriving at how he ranks teams what matters is that this team and staff keep focusing on winning the next game and where we are seeded or ranked will take care of itself.

Personally I like the fact that we're still not in the top 25 and we're not at 10 conference win as it still gives us two important goals to get to.
