Jordan Theodore

When Steve Sauers worked as the DOBO at SHU he once told me he respected no Seton Hall player more than Theodore.
Jordan had great talent but he didn’t fully sync with Kevin’s style and system and I don’t blame Kevin for that.

I remember watching him play, but don’t know much about him. Do we see Jordan as a guy that transitions into coaching post career?

Willard loved Theodore. Few played with more passion for his school than Jordan.

It was Gonzo where he had issues. Harvey was already here and understandably Gonzo preferred him to Theodore regarding PT.

That all changed after Gonzales and Harvey left and Willard took over.

I was going to say, I thought Theodore did well with Willard? Really took off as a Senior where Willard relied heavily on him and he was 2nd Team All-Big East.

If I remember correctly he was like 5/5 or something from 3 in a big time performance against a ranked Georgetown team that we blew out at The Rock. I figured would’ve sealed our NCAAT bid because we had lowly Rutgers and DePaul to close it out. Yeah well…

He gave me his shooter sleeve after the 2012 RU game. A cool memento but from one of the sadder SHU games of my lifetime lol. Glad to see he’s had a great career after college.

Willard raved about Jordan. He loved his work ethic and attitude. He improved a lot in that last year. Jordan is one of his favorite all time players at the Hall.

He was a gym rat and worked every second of every practice - got there early and stayed late. Kid worked his way into earning lots of money and having a great 10 year career so far overseas. He made a lot of $. Props to him!

Sorry. Have to disagree. Not saying KW didn’t love his talent and motor. But JT didn’t always follow the plan.

Bobby signed JT

And the best PG we’ve had in a while. Made all big East in a loaded BE conference.
