Info from ESPN

First Period (July 8-12)

  • Nike Peach Jam (North Augusta, South Carolina)
The cream of the crop in terms of AAU tournaments. Nike's 24 best teams -- after two months of "regular-season" play during the spring -- will battle for a title. Most Nike teams that didn't make the Peach Jam will play in the Elite Youth Invitational.

  • Under Armour All-American Camp (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Under Armour -- which has a top-three 2016 prospect in Josh Jackson and the No. 1 2017 prospect in DeAndre Ayton -- brings its best players together.

  • Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Finale (Atlanta)
Thirty-two of Adidas' best teams. The seeding will be based on the teams' records during the two Adidas Gauntlet sessions in April.

  • Elevate Hoops Showdown (Philadelphia)
Annually brings together some of the best teams on the East Coast and uncovers some sleepers early in the month.

  • Hoop Group events (Reading, Pennsylvania)
Hoop Group annually attracts hundreds of players -- mostly from the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions -- and then the team camp has some of the best high school teams in the area.

  • HoopSeen Best of the South (Suwanee, Georgia)
Teams from all three shoe circuits will be in attendance, along with many of the best teams from the South. There are also plenty of top-notch under-16 teams.

Second Period (July 15-19)
  • Nike Global Challenge (Chicago)
Four USA teams lead the way, as well as representatives from Canada, Dominican Republic, China and Africa. The best Nike kids in America will be on display.

  • Under Armour Finals (Atlanta)
After three sessions of regular-season play, Under Armour brings all its teams together under one roof to battle for a title.

  • Adidas Uprising All-American Camp (Long Island, New York)
There's very good 2016 talent on the Adidas circuit, and the best players will be on display in New York. Expect plenty of good point guard battles.

  • Separation Sports Management events
The Ty Lawson & Victor Oladipo All-American Camp brings in most of the best Nike-affiliated players not at Global Challenge, while the Summer Takeover in District Heights, Maryland, will welcome Team Takeover, Boo Williams, Team Final and more.

  • Great American Shootout (Duncanville, Texas)
The talent level and depth in Texas is typically strong -- and 2016 is no different. The best from the Lone Star State -- and elsewhere -- will head to the underrated GASO event.

  • NY2LA Summer Jam (Mequon, Wisconsin)
The Midwest is filled with sleepers and Division I players -- and NY2LA is the best place to find guys who are not necessarily affiliated with shoe companies.

  • Double Pump Best of the Summer Tournament (Anaheim, California)
The Pump brothers run events throughout the spring and summer -- the Summer Tip-Off runs during the first period -- and it brings in some of the West Coast's best.

  • Peach State Showcase (Augusta, Georgia)
This usually runs concurrent to the Peach Jam, but will happen a week later this month. Lineage of Champions will also have the Peach State Select 24 the first weekend and Battle of the Best in Charlotte, North Carolina, this month.

Third Period (July 22-26)
  • Las Vegas Events Adidas Summer Championships
Fab 48 BigFoot Hoops

The 8

The epicenter of basketball in July is in the desert -- with at least four events going on. Be prepared with your GPS, though; you'll be driving for much of the day.

  • AAU Nationals and Super Showcase (Louisville, Kentucky)
If a coach isn't in Las Vegas for the week, he's most likely in Louisville. The two events moved before last year from Orlando, Florida, and the hoops-hungry state of Kentucky has welcomed it.

  • Elevate Hoops events
Live in AC (Atlantic City, New Jersey)

Summer Final (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania)

Finishing off the summer with some of the East Coast's best teams and players. Expect the U16 division to be loaded with high-major prospects.

  • Sunflower Showcase (Lawrence, Kansas)
Very solid event in the Midwest to wrap up the month. It's actually one of several intriguing events in the Kansas City area in late July, including the Jayhawk Invitational and others.

  • Battle of the Borders (Burlington, New Jersey)
