I’m sure I mentioned the backstory at some point, but the name Merge was the name of my high school rock band and what I used on the old AOL boards. We decided on the name because we all liked different music and the idea of free advertising with Merge signs on the road.

Probably should have switched to something seton hall related with the change to rivals.

The guitarist is now a full fledged qanon believer which is a shame since it appears to have messed up his marriage.
