Biden: Many stayed home in pandemic 'because some black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf'
Biden's remark about Americans realizing that they could remain cloistered at home garners attention on social media.justthenews.com
Let's see how the con artists of the media make this a non issue.
Media crickets.5 new topics on this board today and somehow this one slipped through the cracks. Racist remarks by a Republican = Headline. Racist remark by a Lib isn't really racist.
It's highly possible his computer and phone settings are set by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumar and this info hasn't hit his devices nor will it. Hopefully @NYShoreGuy will let us know how it slipped through the cracks
its also clear the ensuing tweets are using that one sentence without any context.
yea but thats why all this stuff is taen with a grain of salt, like this.Jeez, what side never does that, LOL?
wait what is bad or wrong or racist about this?
his message seems to be that people were not realizing that a large part of essential workers were minorities. that was pretty clear. he was also saying it from the gen pop pov.

i was expecting something actually valid from you guys.
Where did anyone say minorities were not part of essential workers? Minorities are doctors, nurses, lawyers, grocery store workers, delivery providers, etc. They along with white people did a great job helping as many as they could.
Not at all. He mentioned them as low wage workers. Did not acknowledge their value in higher end jobs. Had a republican done the same, people would be saying they only see minorities as low level employees.and that is basically what Biden said, just worded a little better.

he also said this. whatever point was trying to be made was a huge spinzone. as spk said its not unsurprising.Where did anyone say minorities were not part of essential workers? because trump says things that arent misinterpreted and are horrible. he does it to himself. get off twitter to start. There isn't much wrong with it. It was poorly stated, but I know what he was trying to say.
However, if Donald Trump said the same thing in the very same way, there would be a national uproar. Therein lies the problem with our political discourse and bias in media.

People want to believe Trump is always a douche because he has a history of being crude. At the same time Joe Biden who in his past has eulogized Robert Byrd, created laws that hurt many African Americans is a 1st class human being who always means well and always stood for equality. Clearly you didn't get the memo. LOLMost of what Trump says is misinterpreted by a media out to get him.
id go half and half. Most of what Trump says is misinterpreted by a media out to get him.
