Gtown would finish 5-5 and have a record of 18-13 going into the BET...rpi 69 BPI 56
Creighton would finish 6-4 (4 of those games against bottom 3).. currently have an rpi in 90s and BPI at 39.
Providence would be in.
Seton Hall, i think would be in, 6-4 finish (3 of those games against bottom 3) rpi 55 bpi 48
Butler. 6-4 finish (3 against bottom 3) rpi 62 BPI 34.

Gtown-11-7 (2wins in BET) 12-6 (1 win) 13-5 In
Creighton 12-6 In 11-7 (1 win)
Providence 9-9 still probably In
Seton Hall 9-9 (2 wins especially if 7 seed) 10-8 (1 win clinches it, 0 wins and we'll be sweating it out)

Creighton has so much work to do to bring their profile up after a really weak non-conference portion. They are out of the focus right now for me. At 14-7 and a good 5-3 in conference, their best conference wins are Bubble teams; Butler, Georgetown and Seton Hall. Nobody from that top tier.

Creighton and Butler are interesting profiles. They're like inverse of one another. Butler has a very good non-conference resume, but are now struggling at just 3-5 in conference. And look at those 3 wins = DePaulx2, St. John's.

Body of work to date, probably but they have some work to do in the BE. Can't ignore the strong showing OOC, but their only 3 BE wins are against SJU and Depaul.

Big game coming up for them against Marquette.

The BE has had a strong enough showing OOC as a whole that there can certainly be 6 bids imo...

Yes and if that does not go well , I think we're out. There is so much work to do. February is a scary month. Ending the season at DU reminds me of the dark past.

Marquette just defeated Butler. Marquette moves to 15-7, 4-5 and Butler falls to 14-7, 3-6. Wow.

Butler's physicality and defense has really dropped off this year.

So butler is well behind the curve now. I don't see them dancing.

I think it is nova, PC and Xavier, with seton hall and gtown as the next two possible candidates.

Let's hope you guys get it together or it could be a three bid league. As of right now, a half hour before tip off, I have the hall as #4 in the big east.
