If we got a clean inbound with about 10 seconds left who do you think was taking the shot.

I think it was going to be Khadeen going to the basket and trying to draw contact.

IW would've taken it. Outside of the gordon drive, I think he's taken virtually every late game shot we've had this season (end of regulation vs. WSU and the VU Game).

IW still has some trouble creating his own shot. The only thing I want to see in a 10 second left rebound game is a set play for a high percentage shot. The only time I want to see a lay up is if it is a pass near the basket to someone relatively uncovered. Refs often swallow their whistle and let the last play go uncalled. You have to draw up a nice mid-range shot or pick to a big man down low (if you are only down by one or two), or a good drive and kickout if you need a 3.

K.C. would also be my answer..he can not only create .... draw the foul and then make it.

Whitehead taking the last shot every time reminds me of Carmelo Anthony of the Knicks up until this season. Both are big time talents but have to share the ball at times for a better sucess rate.

Everyone knows Isaiah is going to take the last shot meaning the success rate is low.

This season has been different. Anthony now trusts his teammates to take the shot if he's doubled. That learning experience is one that Whitehead must heed.

Putting your head down and going hell bent to the basket is a recipe for disaster.

Nzei or Sanogo cant remember which one but they were wide open on the slip screen but it was passed up to force the in bounds to IW.

Sterling Gibbs,

LOL jk but seriously i have no idea who would have taken that shot. Gordon ended up trying the layup with 7 seconds left which is basically a last shot. So who knows.

Yup. He's got more talent but he reminds me of Jordan Theodore in his junior year.

I just read 10 answers to a last shot scenario, and not 1 of those thought of an inside move to Angel, I ask you guys, you don't like Angel, you don't think he can come through in the big spot? I, personally, like my guy down low against almost anybody, and especially against the team we were up against on Wed.
But, all this is history-screw it all-we lost-let's do the unimaginable, let's beat X at their place 2 morro

IW step back 3 pointer just like we've seen time and time again this year. He's a different player in the last 2 minutes of games this year.

He creates his own shot regularly...it just isn't always a good shot.

Not sure I agree. Creating your own shot means: getting separation so that you can set your feet or be positioned for a good shot. So if he can do all that and just can't shoot the ball than he isn't a good shooter, and I never thought that was his problem. I thought it was more that he rushes shots because he doesn't have enough separation and isn't set for the shot. A set play would work better since he would know the timing and where he needs to be.

KW's last in the game or late in the clock shot scenarios have always wound up "fling it up and hope".
I don't get it- he's supposed to be a master tactician. Not that I have the answer.

Sofer. That's why he's here.

Does anyone know why Soffer doesn't seem to get any minutes but Singh does? The little Soffer has seen the court has seemed positive, and Singh doesn't seem to be the end all be all for 3 pt shooting. Maybe it's just me but why not give Soffer a chance.

Either IW or KC with their mid range jump shot. Both are pretty deadly with that shot.

I would normally prefer KC with a drive, but as Piratefan2009 noted above, refs tend not to call fouls on last second drives, not wanting be the ones to determine the outcome of games. Frank
