Went 2-0 against them in the 2012 season, but one of those wins was at the Big East Tournament. Same thing in 2010 (won the last game of the regular season then beat them again 3 days later at MSG) and in 2000 as well.

Our last regular season sweep of the Friars was 20 years ago, the 1995-96 season.

I suppose many of those seasons had us playing PC only once, due to the size of the old Big East, especially in the final years. I always liked playing them twice, they always felt like kin no matter what the league looked like at any given time.

You are correct. Still a long time. A lot of 1-1 regular season splits along the way over 20 years.

We owe our athletic life to Dave Gavitt and of course Richie Regan. We should always think of them as kin.
