Safe movies. If the woke crowd hasn't attacked it by now it's probably safe to make it again. If you make something new, you gotta worry someone, somewhere will freak out about it. They had something like 60 years of new creative movies year after year. The last 20 years it seems there's not something new very often. Remake Aladdin, Beauty and Beast, Lion King. They've spun off of Mary Poppins twice in the last 10 years. We got my Godson tickets to see Disney on ice right before covid. The 6 adults that went all noticed there are very few new Disney characters the last 20-30 years. The link below is interesting to see how many of the newest movies are either remakes or some type of spin off of things from 30-60 years ago.
