Long has found a nice role with MD This season. Back up guard off the bench for 5-6 minutes in first half to play D and initiate the offense And give Young and Cary a rest. Also gets some minutes in
the 2nd half in certain situations. And he finds himself in a 2nd round game in the NCAAT. Not bad.

Nice to see Long make a play. Always seemed like a good kid.
Tiny bit of perspective…Posh was Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Something that only 3 players in BE history accomplished. Ewing, Mourning and Iverson. Somehow don’t think he’d be concerned with a kid who had 23 career points with The Hall and less steals in 3 years than Posh got in one game.

This was very tongue in cheek. We had the Posh vs Long posts after Willard accepted Long's commitment before Posh committed. Many thought Posh was going to be a Pirate.
