From Carino:
Rutgers dominated the hustle stats, posting a 46-29 edge on the glass, outscoring the Hall 12-2 in second-chance points and grabbing the majority of loose balls.
There was one telling sequence where freshman Paul Mulcahy just manhandled Hall junior Myles Cale out of the way for a rebound as both players jostled under the basket.
On the other end, Rutgers assisted on 19 of 27 buckets. The ball movement and spacing were textbook.
For Seton Hall, the ball stuck, we hoisted too many 3s, had no mid-range game and got out rebounded by 17 despite being one of the tallest teams in college basketball. Is it really wise to not give Taurean an opportunity- how much worse can he be?
Nelson looked decent at PG and seems to get into the lane fairly easily. Quincy always gives it his all. Not sure how Cale has become such a non-factor. Last game Willard said he needed to find more shots for Cale. I guess he’s still looking...
