Marquette again

Terrific win again vs Hurley's AZ St in OT. After their bad start I said I thought they were being given too much credit. After the last two games, I think I was wrong.

Former SH target Tracy Carter playing point and looking good. Both bigs look good. Guards attack the rim.

Wojo took away their nice practice gear after they got clocked by Iowa and had them practice on a playground in Brooklyn in plain shorts and white tee shirts and they came back with two power conference wins (other was ranked LSU with #1 player in nation according to most) at Barclays. Major job and looks like Wojo may be the up and comer many expect.

And Arizona State beat Belmont, who upset Marquette in their opener.

But two quality non-conference wins by Marquette so far.

Is ASU a quality team in Hurley's first season there?

good luck to most teams trying to defend Fischer and Ellenson at the same time. Ellenson can go in, out, pass, dribble. Total package.

A colossal missed call at the end of the game too. Didn't effect the outcome. But the ASU guard was told to call TO (coaches cant cal them from the bench anymore) and he took the longest walk I have ever seen on a court and no travelling was called. And in the last six seconds of regulation, and ASU guy had the ball on a 1 on 2 break and he pulled up at the foul line to through a weak runner that airballed, not knowing he had 6 more seconds to take it to the rim
