Domestic flights, NJ Transit…MTA still hanging on but COVID is the least of your worries in NYC subways. Lawsuit against Philly mandate likely to be successful too. Time to leave the basement.

The bigger story is our President taking orders from the Easter Bunny, probably a wise decision. Who next? Froggy the Gremlin?

Great news. There is no need for mask mandates. Want to wear one? Fine, nobody's stopping you.

Florida leading the way yet again.

Agree its's no longer needed, but I don't agree with the decision by the court at all.

Puts the administration in a tough spot as well. They shouldn't appeal as it relates to needing a mandate, but at the same time I don't think the ruling should be set as precedent for a future emergency and our ability to respond to it quickly.

haha so stupid right now. theres a mask "mandate" in philly but septa vehicles/cars, the most densly packed places, rejected the mandate. big L for the mayor.

Hahhaha. "Leveling case counts" - they never spiked much anyway. This is more of a realization that they're on the losing side of this issue.

“We’re in a situation that we really had not anticipated being in this soon but it is good news,”

being in this soon? we were literally in this situation for the past 2+ months

“So I’m really very happy ... to say it appears that we no longer need to mandate masks in Philadelphia and that we can actually move to simply a strong recommendation.”

it appears?? we no longer needed it back when they got rid of it a few months ago. move to a strong recommendation? they already did move to it.

I’ve read two recent reports that those who wore masks frequently are coming down with chronic coughs and other respiratory ailments.

No surprise of course.
