We will see what comes out, but this is easily the most stunning trade in my lifetime. Luka is a top 3 player in the NBA and 25 years old. Sure, they would have to pay him a small nation's GDP in a year-and-a-half, but teams spent decades trying to get a player like that.

Dallas thinks that AD and Kyrie together give them the best chance to win now. Do they know what they are doing? Well consider that the GM by his own admission today did not speak to any other team besides the Lakers, and did not consult with the head coach before executing the trade. This was simply an impulse prove, one I think that will haunt the franchise perhaps for decades to come.

Yes, it was guaranteed to them. Adam Silver knows LeBron’s time is nearly up. He got him another superstar in hopes they’d be in the finals with a billion eyeballs. Which was my point in the original post
