that is the first picture of Veer I've seen in a while. Legit 6'6? Hard to tell because we don't know how tall Carter and Soffer really are.

Carter is a legit 6-9. Singh I would estimate from seeing him a year ago, 6-7. That would make Soffer (from the picture) 6-5.

I like those Under Armour shirts they are wearing. I hope the SHU fans can get hold of some of that nice gear somewhere.

Rutgers wide receiver Leonte Carroo reportedly slams a woman down onto concrete after a game.

Rutgers star wide receiver Leonte Carroo reportedly slammed a woman he was dating onto concrete outside the football training center Saturday night, leading to his arrest and indefinite suspension from the team.

Carroo — who was charged with domestic violence and a disorderly persons’ offense — is accused of “picking her up and slamming her down on a concrete surface, injuring her left hip, both palms, left elbow and left side of the head,” according to a complaint filed in Piscataway municipal court and obtained by The Bergen Record Tuesday.

He was released on $1,000 bail, the complaint said.

After Rutgers' 37-34 loss to Washington State Saturday night, a fight between two women reportedly set off a confrontation outside the Hale Center.

Rutgers coach Kyle Flood announced Sunday that Carroo was suspended indefinitely.

“Leonte Carroo has been suspended from our program as a result of an incident that happened last night outside our stadium that's currently under investigation,” Flood said.

The team's star receiver is just one on a growing list of players dismissed or suspended from the football program. In September, six players have been kicked off the Rutgers football team and another suspended for alleged criminal activity.

Even Flood is being investigated over emails he allegedly sent to a faculty member on behalf of junior cornerback Nadir Barnwell, who was in danger of being ruled academically ineligible.

Tick, tick, tick for Coach Flood. They would tolerate this stuff down south if the team was winning but they are not winning and I don't think the RU faithful will stand for much more.

The thing about playing football in a major conference in this TV market, is the bad comes with the good. When you suck or do something stupid, it just gets magnified. RU wanted big time; and they got it...

I don't think their program is much different from most Power 5 conference teams. You want to be a 'player' you sacrifice some of your integrity.

My only complaint is the joy their posters took when we had issues with Stix, Pope and Keon. What comes around goes around. No one is immune from the ills of D1 college sports.
