SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The 2025 Seton Hall men's golf fall schedule was announced on Wednesday. The Pirates will participate in five tournaments this fall.
The Hall will open the fall season for the eighth straight year with the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate University at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y., Sept. 6 – Sept. 7. Last fall, the Pirates tied Navy for the team title with an impressive 3-under-par, 291-282-573. It was The Hall's second victory in this event in the last three years. Rising senior David Lally (Wicklow, Ireland) tied for second with a remarkable 5-under-par. The three-round event is named in memory of the son of Seton Hall assistant coach Ian Lagowitz. Alex played collegiate golf at Colgate.
Two weeks later, the Pirates will take on "The Goat," formerly known as the Navy Fall Classic, Sept. 20-21, at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club. The Hall last played in this tournament during the fall of 2015 when it placed third at 7-over-par.
The following week, Seton Hall will return to the Nemocolin Collegiate Invitational, hosted by West Virginia University at Mystic Rock Golf Course, Sept. 29-30. Last spring, The Hall placed third at this tournament with a 19-over-par score. Rising sophomore Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) was the top Pirate performer, tying for sixth place overall at 1-over-par.
In October, the Pirates will return to Daniel Island Golf Club for The Bryson Invitational, Oct. 13-15. This will be the fourth time in the last five years that Seton Hall has participated in the event. In the fall of 2021, The Hall won the team title at 6-under-par.
Finally, Seton Hall will close out the fall season with the FAU Golf Invitational, Oct. 27-28 at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The event is hosted by nearby Florida Atlantic University. The Hall placed sixth at PGA National in this event last year. Hennessee was the top Pirate, tying for 15th at 6-over-par.
