Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole fired back Thursday night after Francesa has mocked the Canadian "Fox Sports Live" hosts for being irrelevant. Onrait did a mock promotion of Francesa's show that dug at the fact the WFAN host is constantly pre-empted by soccer, which is the main source of his discontent with his TV simulcast arrangement.
Francesa's issue with Fox has spilled into his radio relationship with CBS.
"We have a difference of opinion on a number of issues now, and Fox is one of them, yes," Francesa told Newsday this week. "But I've been asked not to discuss it in any detail, and I'm going to abide by what I was asked not to do."
Francesa described the relationship with CBS as "awful" and "terrible" in the interview.
Is Fox Sports taking sides in the battle of their employees? The Onrait and O'Toole skit is featured prominently on their website, so judge for yourself.
