Soledad O'Brien, another so-called "journalist." Amazing how in recent years Twitter has enabled all of these "journalists" to share their political agendas/beliefs so openly.
She has won local and national emmys for news coverage presentation, peabody award, edward r murrow awards, far from a so called jouranlist...maybe she tweets that as a child of two parents who emigrated to usa and as a child of interracial marriageSoledad O'Brien, another so-called "journalist." Would you prefer their agendas and beliefs were hidden?
I honestly don't know anything about her, so no idea what your issue with her is... but on this, she isn't wrong. I don't need to repeat what I feel about Trump, but it is frustrating that certain people only wake up to his incompetence when it hits them personally.

You think they dont vote? Trish Regan was not objective or impartial a few weeks back and now she is currently out of a jobYes, I would. Journalists are supposed to be objective and impartial.

Kind of like referees that are a fan of a team, but they can’t influence them doing their job...
People should be able to express their opinions, but also be prepared for how others will view your credibility. Using the referee analogy, what if a Big East referee constantly posted negative opinions on their FB or Instagram account about one or two coaches in the league?Exactly, but we shouldn't hold them to a standard where they need to be impartial on twitter.
They are allowed to have an express their opinions and beliefs. It shouldn't impact how they report if they are good journalists. No idea on the journalist in question here though.
Better late then ever.Hope more trump admirers figure him out. That he is CLUELESS .

As I said before, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even journalists. Showing a constant bias, or having your opinions leak into how you report news strikes at the very core of your credibility. And I also agree that a journalist who has strong opinions that crossover various groups, parties and organizations while at the same time separating those opinions from when they report news, adds to their credibility, not detracts. It's not like a reporter is walking into a trade negotiation and calling fouls. Politicians are a bit different as they are our representatives and leadership. We should all have opinions on them.
I don’t see anything wrong with reporters sharing their opinion, even if they have strong opinions.
Could it impact their credibility? Sure, but I don't think it should impact any differently than a journalist who doesn't share their personal beliefs. At least we know where one of them stands.
It could actually enhance their credibility as well if there was a reporter you know to be liberal in their personal beliefs being critical of democrats or conservative reporter / republican politicians.

Where was her outrage about the cages years ago?
