Minor Complaint

With 2:30 seconds left to go in the game, there is a tv timeout. The crowd is starting to get into it and get loud. During the timeout, all the energy and passion gets sucked out of the arena with the lame shootout contest. This happened today and the Wichita game.

This is the time to keep the fans going. Get rid of that lame shootout and bring back GARY Glitter song. Do something other than a lame contest which no one cares about at a critical time during the game.

I thought it was great a few games ago when the Stillman kid hit the half court shot to win chic filet for the whole arena. Crowd was totally into it.

Fan participation contests are the worst, but then i think the flag pole circle counts are lame. College BB is great enough to stand on its own. Fans don't need these distractions. Frank

i think the pre-game kids stuff in the walkways are great. Kids and PopPops (that's me) are happy and it doesn't bore the rest of the fans. Hook the kids young on the Pirates.
