.......Trove: Those are some tantalizing profiles, particularly Savannah. How important will it be to get her feet wet in the non-conference games before the tough, physical grind of conference play comes?
Bozzella: She’s definitely going to play. We’re fortunate we have another fantastic point guard in Amari Wright. People who watched us last year saw Amari was a good player, but playing behind Lauren Park- Lane is hard. Now it’s Amari’s team and she’s been great. Savannah is also going to play with her at the same time. She shoots the ball and does some excellent things. She’ll relieve Amari every now and then with some ball handling duties and then clearly Savannah with her shooting ability can play off the ball. I think she's not going to play because I want to give her minutes, she is going to play because she’s that good as a freshman. Like, I told Lauren, ‘We got a real good one with her. I love her.’ DiDi and Cassandra work with her a lot too and she will benefit from her work with them as well.
