Great stuff - Jerry is the best. On his Big East predictions I think he is too bearish on Xavier and Butler. I would be very surprised if Xavier doesn't finish top 5. I think they will be one of the better teams in the league. Also, I think Butler will be better than expected.

I'd put X ahead of Providence, us and St. John's. Based on the projected roster, even if the Freemantle situation ends up being a problem, and with Miller as a coach. I know plenty do not like him - Dan had a good post about what a HS coach recently conveyed to him on the Trove-- but the guy has won everywhere. I think he's a massive upgrade over Steele who underachieved with talented players.

Agree that Miller is one of the sleaziest guys in CBB in the last 25 years. But he does win and can recruit. So glad we have Sha representing our school.

And Miller's already hit the ground running on recruiting at X. Although getting players wasn't an issue for Steele either. Coaching them was a different story though.
