Something like this from the incumbent

Or resignation from office prior to inauguration day?

I think there's an outside chance he resigns prior to Jan. 20.

I'd like to see him follow through on these lawsuits and it prove that America runs fair elections. I'm not sure what will be worse to find out we have extreme holes in our election process or the reaction from the left that Trump gets a second term.

he would never do anything in that video. 0%. so the answer is the 2nd option.

Very nostalgic clip. Our world has changed since then so don't hold your breath.

41 is turning over in his grave.

Did you have this belief in 2000 when florida voters were confused by chad ballots, re america runs fair elections

No I didn’t have that belief or any belief in 2000. My only concern in November 2000 was how I would be getting to Minnesota to watch SHU in the final four. I didn’t care about the election one way or the other.

There is nothing to say that the election was not fair though. They have to have a valid claim that there was something wrong, which they don't which is why these suits keep getting thrown out. I suppose the one in PA might be "valid" to not count votes which were postmarked by election day and received later because the PA law says they have to be received by election day, or the one that prevents people from correcting a rejected ballot... but I'm not sure the GOP invalidating votes from people who were just attempting to cast a legal vote proves that "America runs fair elections"

There’s actual photos of windows being blocked. Actual photos of how far away ballot watchers were. I don’t know the rules. I’m not going to pretend to. But as long as that is legal, so be it. If it’s not, questions need to be answered.

That's what I mean though. They just want to get the public upset. There have rules and these rules were the same as when Trump won in 2016.

The people outside were just trying to cause problems. Both parties were represented inside. There were no issues.

I’m just hoping the rules are followed. I don’t know them. You seem to know the rules. Supposedly there’s some 6 foot rule. Legal ballot watchers are complaining it’s not being followed. You seem to know more than I do. What are the consequences of legal ballot watchers not being allowed 6 feet away to see postmarks, signatures, etc? Seems the courts said they are allowed 6 feet away.

Those are the observers which are overseeing but do not look at the actual ballots. What they can do is basically object if they feel there is an issue, and then they investigate that issue. They had that as 20 feet and moved it to 6, but there was still a representative from each party actually looking at each ballot.

News outlets are reporting Democrats are looking to appeal the 6 foot ruling Trumps campaign won. Why would anyone doing everything by the book want to appeal that ruling?

Don’t know. Would have to see what their complaint is but I can’t find it. Very little reporting about it other than a tweet but no follow up.

Shocking MSM isn’t focused on it. Minor news I guess.

There’s a reason most developed nations have banned mail in ballots. Time to move on from the election but need to do an investigation and see it through to recognize any issues and hopefully ban mail in voting in the future. Only going to be problems for both parties. Invitation for fraud, I get the reasons why we made exceptions this year, but going forward voter Id’s. Exceptions as always for folks who have issues. Mail in voting really worries me.

Many think There’s conservative fraud.
Fraud is criminal. If they think it why don't they show it. It's time the left exposes the right. It's time the right exposes the left. Let the American people see if our tax dollars are paying for criminal activities. Neither side will expose the other because they both make their living the exact same way. Because of it, we all suffer.

I get all of these stupid alerts this morning saying Trump will be prosecuted. No he won't. Just like Hillary wasn't. It's all a game. It's all a show. And it's all done at our expense. If they go after Trump, he's got all the goods to expose them all. Because of that, he will not be prosecuted. It would be a blessing to all Americans to have them prosecute Trump. They'd take him down, but he'd be bringing a lot of people down with him.

I think they’ll be releasing a report soon. Maybe in like two weeks. I think in two weeks they’ll probably be a great report on all of the possible election fraud committed by the right. Also they are seriously looking at reinstating the widely effective Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. They’ll probably be making a decision on that by the end of the year.

In all seriousness, yes it would be nice if they exposed each other. Like mentioned above if one party is going to make an accusation the burden is on them to provide proof. No one has done that yet

Hillary would have been prosecuted if there was a chance she would have been convicted of a crime, but that wasn’t realistic.

Trump on the other hand is a co-conspirator in the case Michale Cohen went to jail for. Significantly easier to get a conviction in a case against Trump there. No idea of the tax issues become something or not. I would guess not, but who knows.

Could also still face trouble regarding obstruction of justice, and he should be negotiating a peaceful transition for leniency.

So dam true, one big happy club. So funny make a comment about mail in ballots and folks start picking sides. It’s not about picking sides, it’s something we should all agree is wrong.

No one is going to jail, if Epstein was alive he would explain why. They all have something on each other in my opinion.

Really? You don't question the woman why her cell phone was beaten to a pulp? You don't question the woman how about her hard drive? Sad, that you will defend criminals to the end because you choose to. Are you under the belief Duke cheats in recruiting, Seton Hall is 100% pure and innocent?

Not at all. I was critical of Hillary here. I’m not defending her. She did a lot of stuff wrong, but I also understand what the laws are.

This is a poorly researched response. You’re only correct in that voting in America is out dated. Most of those countries that don’t have mail in voting (read: they haven’t “banned” it), automatically register all eligible voters, have electronic voting (computers at the polls or via internet), and/or hold Election Day on Sunday, not on a work day. Furthermore, election guidelines are set at the federal level, not state-by-state, as we have it. Our system is ridiculous. But not for the reason you think.

I suspect you wouldn’t trade mail in voting for those four things.

So when u r asked about Dems making
an arg u just say I don’t know jets learn more. Why not so reserved when the shoe is on the other foot? That’s a rhetorical question we all know the answer to. Trump’s acting poorly but I guess that’s the only issue right now.

Couldn't find anything online other than a tweet so responded as such. I probably took more time trying to understand what happened than the person complaining about it though. I always discuss things in good faith even when not reciprocated...

In any case. Here is the details I have found since then.

From what I gathered, the "watches" are different than the "canvassers". The "watchers" watchers were allowed to be there to observe the process but the law does not provide them with the ability to read individual ballots. The argument from republicans was that the watchers were not able to challenge specific ballots. The city said the law does not grant watchers the right to read and challenge specific ballots.

Doesn't appear that democrats made a big stink about it in any case. The count went on and we have a new president elect.
