Limited 'ships available and we choose to look elsewhere. Thought that was a bad choice at the time.

In hindsight that has proven to be true. But recruiting is never an exact science.

Dan I agree it's not an exact science but.... Willard has thoroughly over and over again failed at this science. Except when he has a tutor named Antigua.

The ability to evaluate talent is an essential component of having a successful program particularly when you're the head coach of a team that is a difficult sell to the higher ranked talent and finding gems in that second tier of talent is crucial to your success. It certainly is not unfair to say KW whiffed on this one.

I don't like missing on kids who turn out to be good, but I am more concerned with us taking kids who never had a chance at this level.
