Can you believe this is the first time since joining the Big East that Seton Hall has swept Georgetown and St. John's in the same season? Kudos to Coach Willard, Staff and the Players.
Can anyone believe both of those teams would collectively be the worst teams both schools have had since the creation of the BE?
No .You're right. It is amazing that this G'town team is even worse than their '03-'04 squad. They went 13-15 with less talent, a tougher schedule and no bad losses. Is next year make or break for JTIII?

First he's the son of a GT legend and his overall record would make it difficult to fire him. This is his 12th year at GT and he's taken them to 8 NCAA's and 3 NIT's , not counting this year. He has an overall Conference record of 125-72 (.635 ) and an overall record of 262-125 (.677 ) and that record consists of 9 years in the old BE with teams like Cuse, UConn , Louisville, Cinn, Pitt + Nova .
Glad you posted this. Saw this in Carino's last story - nice fact. Keep momentum going. Loved Jerry's reference to the great Seton Hall defensive teams and how this group compares. If only they can all stay together for at least one more year. Can you believe this is the first time since joining the Big East that Seton Hall has swept Georgetown and St. John's in the same season? Not to mention Big John is sitting court side for every game and some of his players are directing their sons to Gtwn.No .
