Mount Rushmore of BAD Losses In Entire Program History

Glad I’m in Florida today. What a horrendous loss to an 0-8 team… literally lost by 10 to Presbyterian in their last game. Can’t even beat the worst team in the MAAC…

I bet they'll do well in conference. With a player like Bashir, hard to imagine they won't get wins

You’d be surprised at some of them over the years.

Like Kings College.

The problem with this team is that are sorely lacking in talent. What’s really the difference between the SHU, Monmouth, Fordham or Hofstra guys? These results aren’t flukes.
There’s no difference. Each of those teams actually was more talented. Besides Coleman and Jenkins it truly looks like these guys never played basketball before.

Has to be one of the worst losses in 40 years. Not the most disappointing, heartbreaking or anything like that.
No, I agree. It’s not the most disappointing or heartbreaking(I can barely muster a shrug, at this point). If that were the case, Western Kentucky would have to be way up there. But, in comparison to this, that 1993 game doesn’t seem like a bad loss.

From Carino:

Seton Hall (4-4) came in 15-0 all-time against the Hawks, a series that dated back to 1983. The Pirates have now lost three games to mid-majors and two of them were “buy” games at home – a first for the program since 2013-14. It's the first time in the two decades of Kenpom.com's existence that they've lost to a team ranked over 300.

Monmouth (1-8) came into the game ranked 315th defensively, yet the Pirates shot just 35 percent from the field, including 5-of-21 from 3-point range. The Hall also hit just 8-of-16 free-throw attempts, which is roughly consistent with their season average.

Kinda puts it all in perspective.

Don’t forget Scranton and Gene “the Machine” Mumford back in the ‘60s.
