Problem is the their guests are programmed to say something stupid and inflammatory. Thats what they’ve been paid to do. And MSNBC is no different than a lot of other stations. But to literally pull them because they can’t trust they will choose their words wisely is pretty extreme.
The fact is MSNBC pulled it's popular program to offer continuing news coverage of an important event. How they arrived at that decision is not fully known at this time and is probably a blend of fact and opinion. Hall85 could have commended them for their decision but chose not to. He likes to pretend he is above the petty fray of the MSM, but here he is, starting a gossipy thread.
If you say on one hand that the reason for the decision is not fully known.... how can you then say that it is FACT that they pulled their program with the praiseworthy intent to further inform their viewers about the assassination attempt? If you want to state that it's your opinion and hope that that was the reason...... fine..... then that would be the only fact in your post. So praise MSNBC all you want.

Sorry dude. There's tons of breaking news stuff that's happened over the years. This isn't the first major event that took 60 hours of media attention and they never took a show off before. Did they take Morning Joe off when George Floyd was killed? The issue is the money people know if the hosts or their guests take the cheap shots they normally do those comments will come back to haunt them financially. It's better to try to be fact based in this moment and follow breaking news than let the pin heads on that channel give their opinions that will be low class and cost them advertising dollars.

Maybe because MSNBC morning Joe is the root of division in this country. For all we know the shooter probably was motivated by Joe and his wife. I watch his show about 3 weeks before the debate and he went on and on about how he’s known Joe forever and this was the best possible version ever, top of his game. Then after the debate calling for him to step aside. Hilarious show better than watching most comedians. He was a friend of Trump, then goes on and on comparing him to Hitler. There are people who believe this stuff. Wackos with guns. When you want to know where the hate is coming from turn to Morning Joe and Hannity on the right.
The fact remains MSNBC stayed with news coverage. You’ve given your opinions as to why they made that decision and I am sure that factored into their thought process. An unbiased reading of the article would consider the possibility NBC chose to continue news coverage because an assassination attempt on a Presidential candidate is a major news story. The OP values unbiased MSM coverage yet he chose to misrepresent what was written.
The article gives a cause and effect. That would be the unbiased way to look at it. Because the host and guests on the show can't control their hate, they're going in this direction. You can't ignore the cause.
