Here's why i am high on Sam. As for why he didn't get time as a freshman at Memphis this link gives a clue. Why he left could be for reasons other than playing time. He may need a year more to develop his offense. He has only been plying basketball since 4 years or so. Nonetheless, he is a physical specimen, has very good athleticism and was highly recruited out of prep school. (We were in the mix). From a purely athletic perspective, and at 7', this guy has excellent upside. So i'd be very HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY if SHA wants him.
