Not trying to rock the ship....but I gotta be honest: Regardless of political affiliation, I'd be a total drunk too if I were married to that.
Also, it is usually not the first time someone driving drunk that one is caught. Normally it has become habit and routine by the time one is finally pulled over. This was, in all likelihood, not the first time.
