This is a little off topic but can someone explain to me how Arkansas Little Rock is 5 in the RPI? They have beaten an NAIA, division 3, and 2 teams in the top 100 but somehow ranked that high. Huh?
Bc RPI needs more games to be played nationally before it's accurate. It starts to round into shape in mid January, and makes complete sense in february
They are ranked high because Non D-1 games don't count in the RPI. You lose credit for a win, but your rating doesn't get pulled down for playing a bad D-1 team.
