The team played very well defensively against Villanova (except for the discrepancy with offensive rebounds). Foul shooting is an Achilles heel that needs to improve. Now we have to get back to good ball sharing, more plays involving the big men, and better passing and less "hero ball" (Jerry Carino's take).
Bottom line, need to learn to run more offensive sets as Nova did and Creighton most certainly will. Watson, their point guard transfer from Boston a University, is second in the league in assists. A true point guard who makes everyone around him better. Whitehead is super talented - coaches need to be sure this athletic group can play in the half court too. The teams that play in post season can do both.
