We never, ever would get that type of promotion from ESPN. Anyone who doesn't think that we are better off at fox is crazy.
Fox is the best.
I'm sitting at a bar in waikiki and have seen isaiah whitehead hoover dam promo a half dozen times. Wtf!??
Huge exposure. So much more than we ever got from espn.

Woah so it wasnt regional players? You would think Philly would have a Nova player. My dad told me he saw Whitehead. Thats pretty cool since Nova is ranked and sort of the face of the Big East. Great for everyone involved.
Just didnt get why they used hoover dam haha. They should have shown footage of a lot of his passing so he knows whats going to get him the publicity.

Which is kinda good because
1) He isnt the highest rated recruit coming out of highschool (Ellenson was what top 5?)
2) Lavin actually lost Whitehead to us in a down to the wire recruiting battle. So clearly hes not being biased here.
Either Lavin actually believes that, or hes doing what Fox is doing and really pushing the star player in the biggest media market NYC. For the good of the conference.
Just remember when ESPN was broadcasting the Old Big East games it didn't need to promote the Conference as ESPN had virtually no competition and the BE had consistent top 10 teams with legendary coaches like Louisville & Pitino, UConn and Calhoun , Cuse and JB plus others. Fox is competing with ESPN and when you're trying to take away market share from a competitor you promote the hell out of your product. It's great for SH as it gives your brand attention to a national audience.
