N.J. hospitals were just ranked for safety. See how yours fared.

With 31 hospitals earning a top grade, New Jersey was ranked 12th best in the nation, according to the Leapfrog Group biannual safety report card.

No surprises there. All four D's are stand-alone hospitals that should have merged with the larger systems long ago. Stubborn boards or communities that want to hang on is short-sighted and the pandemic magnified their deficiencies.

Greater Philadelphia area has some amazing hospitals and i noticed new jersey has a large bunch of As in this dma as well. Pittsburgh has some good ones too.

new york is a clear example of how most the state is not in proximity to the good hospitals. yikes.

FWIW, GE (one of the largest contrast media providers) has shut down their Shanghai facility due to the pandemic and has very little production capacity available...major trickle down effect that may cause MRI's and CT's to be more limited in availability.
