Spoke to my source who attended the UA games this weekend and made the rounds.
Most of the PG names he got have already been posted here. With Duval coming and we're holding out slight hope but it doesn't look good, we were probably not going to take a back-up point unless we couldn't fill other needs.
The school is playing it very close to the vest regarding what PG is #1 on their lists after Duval. They want to make sure not to alienate other points if we don't get our next choice after Travon.
We have reached out to Aaron Thompson who just de-committed from Pitt. We have strong interest in him but unfortunately so do many of the top programs on the east coast.. Right now word is he wants to stay close to home (Maryland). Sha and of course Freddie who has excellent contacts in that area are trying their hardest.
I was told Saturday that we were involved with a transfer PG who could not play imm this season but I wasn't given a name as it wasn't known we were recruiting him. I am going to assume that's Dejon Jarreau since Rothstein broke the news yesterday.
In a perfect world we are looking for a PG imm and a big transfer to sit out. If that happens we are probably finished with recruiting unless something falls into our lap. If we can't get a big transfer we might go for two points but that's not an optimum situation.
As a decision draw closer my source is gong to get me more on recruiting but as you can imagine the situation is fluid and the staff doesn't want any leaks if they can help it.
