Watched a few minutes and left. Hannity constantly talks over his guests. He did it to Sean Penn.
I thought Newsome did well and did not give in to Hannity's annoying style of interviewing.

Have not seen it and I agree Hannity is so irritating.
I'm not sure how serious Newsome can be as a candidate as people are fleeing the state because of the cost of living, crime, etc. At this point he looks like he's a proxy for Biden or just testing policies.

If Newsome is complimenting Trump during the interview, there has to be a specific political reason for it, right? He isn't just going to tell the truth or given an honest opinion - not him.
So what's that reason? Ds wanting to keep the R-side of the race all about Trump? Curious what folks think.

I watched the first half of the interview. I thought Newsome performed very well despite Hannity talking over him at various times. Newsome is young vibrant and charismatic. The major issues that he will have to defend is the homeless issues and crime in some of the cities in California,
Up until this interview, I thought Gavin Newsome was complete idiot.
I'd add to that empty suit left wing liberal yada yada yada.
I don't agree with most of his policies and what is going on with California but after watching that interview, he is clearly a person that I could talk to and try to work with.
Maybe I was duped by a single presentation, but I wish people would take the time to try to get to know each other and try to understand each other's perspectives and then try to achieve a common ground that is beneficial to the people they are serving.

Both are extremely partisan but we need more conversations like that. It's a good thing.

thats how the forefathers did it. they were just as partisan on bascially every issue possible but they had respect for the person despite the disagreements. but than again they used to respect themselves too.
