Bad news: it seems like we’re going with the same money ball approach as last season and probably won’t be signing any established high major players.

Good News: It’s nearly impossible to completely whiff on as many players as we did last year.

Didn’t even average 20 minutes per game last year at rice. Was there a top notch player in front of him?

Similar player to Middleton. 6'7", with thin, wiry build. Crazy-long arms with a 7'0" wingspan. Best attribute is catch and shoot 3-pt shooting, especially from the corners. Like Scotty, has almost no skill at putting the ball on the floor. They both have decent block shot rates. Scotty had better shooting % and gets more steals. Dar is a better rebounder, turns the ball over less and has better overall ratings than Scotty on Offense. But you have to consider Dar played at a far lower level than Scotty in the American.

Overall, looks like could be a decent 3&D Wing off the bench. Might not have the ceiling of Scotty but may be more effective as a role player if Sha can get him open looks from the corners. God knows we could use a shooter.

SHa says hold my beer!

Hearing that Jacob Dar 6-7 wing forward from Rice who shoots 37% from three, 41% from field and 75% Ft might be the next to commit -Trilly prediction
