Nice, nice win last night-I was a little disappointed in the size of the crowd. I'd guess at 6500+. I'm sure Sat there will be a near [if not total] sellout. Big moment on Sat for Seton Hall, a chance to make a definitive statement in prime time.
A few asides from me:
1st, Ish Sanogo has been an absolute revelation this yr.; Rebounding the ball, playing the passing lanes, solid man D, capable secondary ballhandler to reach the offensive zone; just a very likeable player;
2, Derrick was giant vs Marq, especially early, made numerous quality contributions to the cause;
3, Angel and Isaiah, oh my goodness, what a pair of performances last night!
Khadeen got going late, thus helping to keep Marq at bay,
Desi is Desi, at any moment he can explode,
I feel a big Desi show coming on Sat.
And another thing, something tells me Veer is ready to have a big 3 game!
One last item, I was really touched by Coach Wojo's comments about our team last nght; complimentary thoughts about our program and players, to me, was much appreciated.
