Dawes shot near his career average for 3 pfg%. Wusu was tremendous. We need that to continue.Hopefully what Addae-Wusu and Dawes did last night is the start of an extended stat correction to their averages.
This team doesn’t use/have? its bench, is bad defensively, and is not ideally constructed at forward. The 4 top players need to score well to be successful. That’s why we blew the games to USC and Rutgers, yet beat Missouri. Nothing changed except they made shots. And yeah that’s big.
Most people figured a losing record or mediocre year at best in the BE, myself included. We’ll see.
You’re right on Dawes. I was thinking of Dawes’ 5/5 from 2 after he was 1/14 in the 4 losses.Dawes shot near his career average for 3 pfg%. Wusu was tremendous. We need that to continue.
Davis had a good game but still goes through stints where you shake your head. He has guys wide open on his post ups. If he kicks out once or twice it will open things for him and other players.
Khadary has to play at a high level all game. Cannot be average or below average for any phases.
Our chance for success is all about these 4
Bediako and EHE have been strong at C. When we get good play from the starters, we can survive games when the bench plays below expectations like last night. Coleman still was able to contribute on both offense and defense in spurts.
Yep, Dawes is a few misses on 3s from a bad performance at a high volume. He did other things including picking his spot for 2s and assists.Credit should be given to our offense yesterday. Missouri held Memphis to 70, Pitt to 64, Kansas in the 60s at home and Witchita State in the 70s. We dominated that team yesterday.
He drove with purpose but pulled up when he was met with size in the paint. You’re right on Dawes. I was thinking of Dawes’ 5/5 from 2 after he was 1/14 in the 4 losses.
Sha also rides these guys man. Whew. We couldn’t have gone to more backups up 19? Starters were gassed.
Oh, it's that time of year again.Time to upset our boy Danny....
