I've only seen a few clips on twitter so far. Not going to judge the whole thing based on those since I am sure the clips getting the most traction were her worst of the night, but the two that bothered me were her stance on red flag laws, and connecting teen suicidal thoughts to the existence of trans people.
I don't agree with her making the government be the boogeyman. We can't trust the government to implement effective red flag law but we can trust them to implement the right policies for all of the mental health issues? It's just pandering to the ant-government crowd.
I wholeheartedly agree with the first 35 seconds of this clip, but then she makes a gigantic leap which is nonsense.
I still like her, but I expected better that clips like that.
Went back and watched the entire Town Hall last night. Overall, she has done a very good job since 2016 of polishing her approach, being confident, credible and genuine.
Do not agree with all of her policies (agree with you on her stance on red flag laws), but she put forth very specific plans for everything Tapper threw at her. Specific on immigration and common sense on abortion (maybe being coached by Nancy Mace). She also took strong positions against Trump and DeSantis....convincing in this format and does a good job of weaving personal stories into her positions.
Hard to project how she translates in debates but she has carved out a lane for herself and effectively distancing herself from others.
