@King of S I remember I warned posters a few weeks back NJ schools will be going remote. Many posters told me I would be incorrect. Including the poster I included in this post. However, many schools in NJ are now going remote after Winter break. Paterson is going remote "at least" until the end of March.
I do believe the teachers union will pressure the governor to make the decision again to mandate all schools to go back to remote learning. This will happen in mid to late January when kids go back to school and covid numbers continue to go up.
