ATHENS, Ga. -- The No. 21 Seton Hall women's basketball team (7-0) returns to the floor for the first time in over a week on Sunday afternoon when it visits the Georgia Lady Bulldogs (7-1). The contest marks a re-match of a December 28, 2014 tilt in South Orange. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and can be seen on the SEC Network+ with Matt Stewart and Kiesha Brown on the call.

The Pirates toppled the No. 14 Lady Bulldogs, 70-51, at Walsh Gymnasium last season behind 25 points from Tabatha Richardson-Smith (Bay City, Texas). The contest marked the first all-time meeting between The Hall and UGA. It was also Seton Hall's first victory over a ranked opponent since 2007.

- Seton Hall is 7-0 for the first time since 1989-90 after sweeping its two contests at the 2015 Cancun Challenge
- The Pirates debuted in the Associated Press Top-25 at No. 22, their highest AP ranking since 1995. They also climbed four spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 21
- Richardson-Smith was named Riviera Division MVP at the Cancun Challenge after averaging 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the tournament - she ranks second in the BIG EAST with 18.1 points per game
- Aleesha Powell (Philadelphia, Pa.) is second on the squad with 13.3 points a contest while Tiffany Jones adds 12.0 and leads The Hall with 8.4 rebounds per game
- Shakena Richardson (Neptune, N.J.) ranks third in the BIG EAST with 5.4 assists per game and Lubirdia Gordon (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) is top-20 nationally in blocked shots (3.0 per game)
- The Pirates are the top defensive team in the BIG EAST by scoring defense (54.6) and field goal percentage against (32.4) and lead the league in blocks per game (5.2)
- Seton Hall was named the NCAA Women’s Basketball Team of the Week after wins over NC State and Northern Iowa in Cancun

LADY BULLDOG BULLETS
• Georgia enters Sunday’s showdown with a 7-1 record on the year, including a perfect 5-0 mark at Stegeman Coliseum
• The Lady Bulldogs are on a six-game winning streak after securing victories over Mercer and Kennesaw State earlier this week
• Tiaria Griffin leads UGA with 16.3 points per game and is dangerous beyond the arc with 2.6 triples per contest
• Merritt Hempe is second on the squad with 14.3 points per game and shoots 59.5 percent from the floor
• Shacobia Barbee nearly averages a double-double with 11.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per contest
• The Lady Bulldogs hold a +6.5 rebounding margin

Sunday's contest concludes a 20-day, five-game, four-state, two-country stretch away from home for the Pirates. They next return to Walsh Gymnasium on Wednesday, Dec. 9 to take on Fordham at 7 p.m.
