South Orange, N.J. - Back home for the first time in two weeks, No. 21 Seton Hall returns to the Prudential Center as a ranked team as the Pirates take on Bethune-Cookman on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 12 p.m. on FS1.

The Pirates (4-1) are coming off of a third-place finish at the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off and a 67-65 victory at No. 4 Michigan back on Nov. 16.

ENTRY POLICY
In order to enter Prudential Center, patrons ages 12 and up must...

  • OPTION A: Present proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status (via display of an actual vaccination card, a complete picture of the card, or an online digital vaccination record) or...
  • OPTION B:Wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times unless actively eating or drinking.
  • Children under 12 may enter the arena so long as they wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times unless actively eating or drinking.

MOBILE TICKETING
Moving forward all tickets to gain entry into men's and women's basketball home games will be fully digital, which will help to make entry to Prudential Center and Walsh Gymnasium safer and easier for fans.

This transition to digital ticketing through a smartphone will also help to make ticket transactions more secure while reducing fraud and counterfeiting. CASHLESS POLICY

Cash will NOT be accepted at concession stands, retail locations or the Box Office.
Pay with a debit or credit card using tap to pay, chip or swipe, or mobile payment, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. For guests needing to convert cash to a card, Reverse ATMs are available with no fees by sections 1, 14, 125 and inside the Box Office Lobby.

  • Sunday will be the first of five-consecutive games where the Pirates are the home team.
  • The Pirates are 76-11(.874) all-time against non-conference opponents at the Prudential Center and are 2-0 this season.
  • Bethune-Cookman assistant coach Billy Garrett was on Louis Orr's staff at Seton Hall from 2001-06 and he helped lead the Pirates to two NCAA Tournaments in 2003-04 and 2005-06.
  • The Hall is one of only five teams with a top-five win this season (Gonzaga, UCLA, Arizona, Dayton) and the only team in the country with a top-five road win.
  • The Pirates have held four of its first five opponents to 65 points or less for the first time since 2012-13.
  • The Pirates are now 12-9 over the last two seasons when following a loss after they defeated Cal, 62-59, in the third-place game of the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off.
  • The Pirates were ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 on Monday, its first appearance in the poll since the final ranking of the 2019-20 season.
  • The Hall is 5-4 all-time when ranked 21st in the AP Top 25.
  • Seton Hall is 171-63 all-time when ranked in the AP Top 25.
  • Senior guard Jared Rhoden (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named to the Fort Myers Tip-Off's All-Tournament Team after averaging 25.0 points, six rebounds and two steals per game in a 1-1 showing for the Pirates.
  • Rhoden, who scored a career-high 29 points in the loss to Ohio State, was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday following a 16 point, five rebound performance in Seton Hall's win at No. 4 Michigan.
  • The Pirates' 67-65 win over the Wolverines was the program's 10th all-time win over an Associated Press top-five ranked team and their first-ever on the road against a non-conference opponent.
  • After coming back from an 11-point deficit last week vs. Michigan, The Hall nearly completed a 12-point second half comeback against Ohio State on Monday.
  • Despite a strong offensive performance by Ohio State on Monday, the Pirates now 23rd nationally in adjusted defense by KenPom after getting.
  • The Pirates had allowed its first three opponents to shoot only 8-of-60 shooting from three-point range (13.3 percent) before the Buckeyes shot 11-of-22 (50 percent) from long distance.
  • Graduate student Bryce Aiken (Randolph, N.J.) had a season-high 16 points against Ohio State in 29 minutes and played 29 minutes against Cal, making it the first time he's played 29 or more minutes in consecutive games since Nov. 2019 in his senior season at Harvard.
  • Through four games, the Pirates have six players that average at least 9.0 points per game.
  • Graduate student Myles Cale (Middletown, Del.) is tied for sixth in program history with 129 career games played and is tied for 42nd all-time in Seton Hall scoring history with 1,022 points.
  • Just two full seasons and three games into his Seton Hall career, graduate student Ike Obiagu (Abuja, Nigeria) has swatted 129 career shots at Seton Hall and is now in a tie with former teammate Romaro Gill for seventh in program history.
  • The Pirates return four of their top six scorers from last season, add three transfers who have combined for over 1,400 career Div. I points scored and bring in a top-25 rated freshman recruiting class that will help Seton Hall once again compete for another conference championship and NCAA Tournament bid.
 
Seems like a lot of tickets have been sold for this one even when counting the Black Friday deal seats still open. A big crowd in the making??
